Travel

Thailand's "Rose of the North" is a cultural and natural wonderland with ethnic diversity, a multitude of attractions and welcoming hospitality.

Doi Suthep Temple

The temple is often referred to as "Doi Suthep" although this is actually the name of the mountain where it's located. It is a sacred site to many Thai people. From the temple, impressive views of Chiang Mai can be seen. The original founding of the templeremains a legend and there are a few varied versions.

DOI MON CHONG

Situated within the Omkoi Wildlife Sanctuary, Doi Mon Chong is a beautiful mountainous hill featuring attractions such as the near-extinct mountain goat, rare birds, Thailand's largest azelia flowers (blossom during Dec-Jan) as well as breathtaking mountainscape vistas. Hiking trip up Doi Mon Chong can be done within a day, but it would be a very exhausting trip you shouldn't start treking any later than 6:30 am. Thus, a minimum if a night stay is better advised. A visit to Doi Mon Chong requires an advance permission from Omkoi Wildlife Sanctuary, though.

Wat Phra Singh

There are several magnificent and very old temples within the walled old city of Chiang Mai, with the Wat Phra Singh being one of the most attractive. The temple, which is also known as "The Monastery of the Lion Buddha" or "The temple of the Lion Buddha" is an active temple, with hundreds of monks and novices living there.

Chiang Mai Night Safari

Chiang Mai Night Safari is located in Tambon Mae Hia, Suthep, Muang District, and Tambon Nong Khwai, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. The total area of 323.81 acres. Chiang Mai Night Safari was the first to open on February 6, 2006 on the service in the evening into the night. And a night zoo in Thailand. But today, Chiang Mai Night Safari has modified the style of service that can travel throughout the day. Both during the day and at night and may you have a night zoo, the largest in the world.
